Avi Tessler
President and CEO
Mr. Avi Tessler is Co-founder, President and CEO of Marketech Corp. Avi has worked with a wide variety of companies with various marketing and sales challenges-from young start-ups to US fortune 1000 companies. He has developed unique methodologies that allow Marketech’s team to establish a wide market presence for its clients within a short period of time.
Avi began his career in Marketing and Sales in 1997, after earning a B.A. in Industrial Engineering and Business Administration, specializing in International Marketing. Shortly after starting his professional career of assisting young technology companies that were developed in Technology Incubators, Avi realized that there is a tremendous opportunity for mature High-Tech companies (technologically and financially) to sell quickly and widely throughout the North American market.
The quick massive exposure to the market is achieved using different techniques and tools that are constantly being improved upon by Marketech’s team.
Avi co-founded Marketech Corp. in January 2001. Since then, he and his team helped tens of high technology companies from around the world to establish wide sales and strong business infrastructure in the US and Canadian markets.
Orie Rechtman Co-founder
Mr. Orie Rechtman, Co-founder of Marketech Corp, is an Information Technology veteran and has been active in the computer industry since 1981. Mr. Rechtman was a leader in establishing the first distribution channel for computer software index to educational institutions in the United States and Israel. Mr. Rechtman was president of School Computing Distributors until merging it into Wareforce in 1990, upon the completion of his undergraduate work at the University of Southern California, specializing in International Marketing. In 1990, Mr. Rechtman completed a leverage buyout of Wareforce Inc., and grew the organization from $2 Million in revenues to over $200 Million, positioning it as one of California's leading system integrators and Information Technology Solution Providers to Fortune 500, Government and Educational Institutions. Mr. Rechtman served as Wareforce's president and director from 1990 to Feb1998 when he was appointed Chairman and Chief Executive Officer. During that year Mr. Rechtman guided the company through a public offering. His vision has been the driving force behind the commitment to both internal and external growth, through acquisitions, for the company.
Tali Sharon
Treasurer and CFO
Ms. Tali Sharon is Treasurer and CFO of Marketech Corp. Tali brings to Marketech diverse experience spanning large-scale corporate, individual/entrepreneurial as well as consulting firm operations. After graduating from the University of Texas at Austin with a BS in Mathematics, Tali earned her MBA from the University of Houston in 1999.
As the CFO of Marketech, Tali oversees the day to day financial operations. In addition, she advises Marketech’s clients on financial planning issues, such as American tax planning. Marketech’s clients are in the need to make informed financial decisions, and rely on the advice they receive from Tali and her outside consultant. The decisions Marketech’s clients make can influence their transition into the new world of selling in the US. Tali is also responsible for managing the Retirement and Benefit Plan at Marketech in order to ensure its employees are getting the best possible plans available in the market today.
In her spare time, Tali volunteers as the Treasurer of a nonprofit organization in Houston. Prior to working at Marketech, Tali worked for Arthur Andersen and Reliant Energy in Financial Analysis roles
Jay Kamenetsky
Director of Sales
Jay brings with him a wealth of sales and marketing knowledge and experience from the retail and insurance industries. As store manager, he managed retail locations that generated annual revenues exceeding $1,000,000. Throughout his Career, Jay has trained managed and supervised staff, set goals and implemented strategies while consistently meeting objectives. Jay is responsible for Business to business sales and Business development of software based solutions for a variety of industries.
Eyal Nevo
Director of Information Technology
Eyal has acquired extensive experience in development, implementation and integration of High-tech software and services. Eyal worked with service providers in Israel and brings to Marketech his unique back-office knowledge and understanding. As the Director of Information Technology in Marketech, Eyal is in charge of handling all technical oriented pre / post-sale meetings and assists all of Marketech’s clients with integration and customization of the products they purchased into their systems. Eyal holds a B.A. in Computer Science.
Jared Sayovitz
Director of Sales
Jared Sayovitz is one of the Directors of Sales at Marketech Corp. Jared has been with Marketech Corp from 2005, beginning as a Junior Sales Specialist, and has quickly moved up the ranks to the position of Director of Sales. Jared has proven to be an asset to Marketech Corp by consistently surpassing his previous year’s sales goals. He has worked with clients in the security industry, heavy industry, medical industry, and many others.
Don Gordon
Director of Marketing – Healthcare
Don Gordon is one of Marketech’s long-time staff. His professional experiences include sales and marketing
roles with Olympus America, Impra Inc., Edwards Lifesciences, C.R. Bard and Daxor Corporation. With
an educational background that includes a MS in the area of cell physiology and biochemistry, Don comes
to a healthcare client’s project with an understanding of the healthcare market as well as a background to
understand a client’s clinical product or service. He has a special talent to take complex technology and
convey the client’s product message in an easily understandable language for US healthcare professionals.
Jason Woods
Project Manager
Mr. Jason Woods has been with Marketech since 2008 and is a project manager. Jason is responsible
for all facets of a project that he has been assigned which includes coordinating activities, presenting
product information and finalizing transactions. Jason Woods has a BBA in Accounting and Marketing
from the Bauer College of Business at the University of Houston.
Shiri Oberlender
Customer Support Manager
Shiri Oberlender has been with Marketech since 2004. As Customer Support Manager, Shiri handles all incoming support calls and assists customers in resolving technical and operational issues. Shiri is currently in her last year of her studies towards a BA in Business from the University of Houston.
